All Metal Widebody Nissan Silvia S13: Enhancing the Iconic Design
The Nissan S-Chassis, originally envisioned by Albrecht Graf von Goertz and awarded the prestigious “Good Design Award from the Ministry of International Trade,” holds a special place in automotive history.
While we appreciate the original design, concept, and execution of this legendary Japanese sportscar, we recognized the need to revitalize its appeal, which had waned over the years.
Rude Glory has been entrusted with the task of subtly yet drastically re imagining the body lines of his Nissan Silvia S13. Our goal was to add a more aggressive and shapely touch to the factory body, breathing new life into its aesthetic. Beginning with a relatively stock body, we meticulously reshaped and designed wider, more assertive front and rear body panels. The rear width received an impressive additional 65mm (totaling 130mm), while the front width gained an extra 50mm (totaling 100mm). These modifications were seamlessly integrated into the original width of the car, creating graceful reverse curves that maintained the car’s inherent balance.
In addition to the widened body, we meticulously refined various styling details. The factory beads underwent changes, while the wheel arches were raised, and the indicator surrounds were seamlessly flushed for a cleaner, more cohesive appearance. Experience the captivating transformation of the “All Metal Widebody Nissan Silvia S13”, where classic American muscle influences blend harmoniously with the dynamic essence of a 90’s Japanese sports car.
Trust Rude Glory to bring your automotive dreams to life.
